Jacob's 16th Birthday!!!
Today started out well. I actually accomplished some homework while the kids were still asleep. I had a spinach pineapple protein smoothie for breakfast.When Jacob got up I cooked brunch. Eggs, sasuage, and toast for the kids.
After hanging out awhile, I took Frankie on a walk to the park and back. It was such a beautiful warm day!
Once I came back, I did a little yard work while the dogs worked on digging under the deck. The kids came out of hiding in their rooms and joined me outside to soak up some sun.
The kids took a quick trip to Wal-Mart to get sweet tea for Jeana and vitamin water for Jacob.
Jacob and I headed to the gym. I had my metabolic testing and Jacob lifted weights.
I now have a heart rate monitoring strap that connects to my phone. With the testing, I know which HR zones I should be at for maxium fat burn. I plan to do my first base training tomorrow.
After the gym we got ready for dinner. Josh was still not feeling well enough to go out.
We tried a new restaurant in Jacob's honor, Bonefish Grill. It was great!

After dinner, the kids and I visited Trader Joes for the first time. We had a great evening :)
I stayed under my calories at 1,092. I drank 60oz of water. I am at 14,743 steps. SO, I have made it two days under calories, drinking water, and getting more than 10,000 steps. I am happy with that BUT I am ready to add some good work outs.
