Busy day today! We collectively had 9 appointments. It took some planning but we got through all of them.
While the kitchen was being torn up, I took Frankie out for a walk. It was a b
eautiful warm morning.
On our way back from our appointments on base, we stopped by Chick-fil-a. Today was the first day (since last Friday) that I was craving "bad food". I ordered a grilled chicken salad. I was fine in line, but when we were in the car, I smelled Jeana's fries. It was so hard not to rip them out of her hand!
The kids went back to school while I enjoyed my luch outside with the dogs. Frankie does not like strawberries!
I was in and out so much in the morning that I didn't drink all of my protein smoothie. My salad was yummy! After my second appointment, I was able to get a little bit of homework accomplished. Then I had a snack before heading to the gym.
At the gym, I had my first session of Team Fitness. It was great! Linda is the best! My TEAM is the best! It was so nice to work out with people encouraging me. I started out with my 10 min warm-up designed from metabolic testing. Then we did squat lunges, ball crunches, alternating lunges, and bench press. All of this was with more weight then I am used to. Even though it was difficult, the workout seemed to go by quickly.
THEN I weighed in........
SO, I have either had success in my first 4 days OR it is some kind of fluke. I HOPE it is success! I will have to wait and see next Tuesday.
